January 1985: The company is formed
Company formed on 31st January 1985 by Ambrose Lungaro-Mifsud, offering accounting services, payroll services and personal taxation.
July 1990: Our first office
Company moved into its first office.
July 1994: Aidan Lungaro-Mifsud joins
Aidan Lungaro-Mifsud joined the firm.
October 1997: New offices for a growing firm
Company moved offices to cater for greater expansion with a further extension being leased in October 2002.
January 2003: The birth of Summa Fiduciary Services
The birth of Summa Fiduciary Services Ltd as part of an effort to offer a further variety of services to the financial services sector.
July 2003: Ivor Lungaro-Mifsud joins
Ivor Lungaro-Mifsud joined the firm.
March 2004: Assurance and corporate tax
The firm started providing assurance and corporate tax services leading to the setting up of Lungaro-Mifsud Assurance in January 2015.
August 2011: A home at CMS House
The firm relocated to its newly-acquired premises, CMS House, which today houses the firm’s offices.
May 2026: One brand: CMS Corporate
The creation of the CMS Corporate brand encompassing the three entities, that is, Comprehensive Management Services Ltd, Summa Fiduciary Services Ltd and Lungaro-Mifsud Assurance.

Ambrose Lungaro-Mifsud
Our company was founded on a simple principle: strong processes create strong businesses, and that foundation still shapes everything we do today. For us, the best structures are built on trust and maintained through consistency. I believe this very philosophy is what sets us apart. We build relationships that are personal, enduring, and grounded in practical thinking.
Trusted Expertise in Execution
The company was founded in 1985 by Ambrose Lungaro-Mifsud, who recognised a gap in the market for reliable outsourced accounting, providing businesses with accurate, dependable financial information to support informed decision-making. He was later joined by his two sons, Aidan and Ivor, both of whom pursued careers in accountancy and qualified through ACCA. Today, they lead the firm together, supported by a dedicated team, delivering a comprehensive service to clients across a range of industries.
